This year, a new wave came to bury me and try to drown me.

 

At the heart of this ordeal, it occurred to me to combine a striking color with a symbol that is very important to me. This was the birth of this new painting.

 

Using a new brush, I imagined powerful waves crashing against the rocks that once again encircled me. I imagined this glowing, luminous tree rising in the rich, tumultuous ocean, creating harmony around it.

 

A harmony between stars, clouds, waves and oxygen, now intertwining in an atmosphere of plenitude, emanating from the tree, my landmark and my certainty.

 

I then leaned on this canvas to come up from the swell of my emotions and feel alive, each time the imagination arose from its ramifications.
